30-Day Whole Foods Detoxification Program
This program is a must for all of us and was created by Kasia to help improve patients faster. It is particularly effective for patients with multiple health challenges such as autoimmune conditions. It is gentle and it is not a fast or a diet. It brings remarkable results fast with the average weight loss of 5-12 pounds in 30 days if there is need to lose weight and continued weight loss after the program even though Kasia did not create it with weight loss in mind. Toxicity, stress, and wrong eating habits all contribute to our inability to maintain healthy weight. Many patients continue the new lifestyle and maintain weight successfully. They also experience remarkable health improvements. Attend a Free Detox Intro one week before the Program to see if that is a good fit for you.

Transitions Lifestyle System® – The Last Weight Loss Program you Will Ever Need
Most of Kasia’s patients are in need of weight loss and are frustrated with how all the previous attempts, all the previous diets, failed them in the long run. There is a variety of weight loss programs on the market, but this is the only one Kasia endorses and uses. It is different because it is not a diet. It is safe, it is scientifically-based and researched, it was created by a nutritionist, Dr Lieberman, PhD and a whole team of other professionals in the field, and it produces remarkable and sustainable results. Kasia is a Certified Transitions Coach and offers the Program to her patients in group and individual settings.

What is most impressive about the Program is the education and support: participants become educated on physiology, stress management, healthy eating habits of low glycemic impact foods, and appropriate physical activity, while  they also get additional support from the weekly DVDs and daily journaling. In fact, journaling is the core of the Program because according to studies, people who journal and share their journal with someone lose twice as much weight. The Program also teaches to distinguish between losing fat and just weight, the latter being associated with water and muscle loss so typical of dieting. The proper low glycemic impact eating combined with appropriate exercise and life style promotes healthy muscle mass, which dictates the metabolism and helps with fat loss. The body composition is further monitored  by measuring the body fat percentage and  waist and hips circumferences as well as weight. participants are also photographed on first and last day of the program. Additional support is also availble via an interactive website: Transitions Lifestyle System®

A pilot study of the 12-week Transitions Program produced an average 14 pounds loss of fat as compared to the average 10 pounds of weight loss after a year of other weight loss programs on the market.

Your Commitment in the Transitions Lifestyle System Program®
You commit to 12 weeks of one-hour weekly group sessions. You have a book to study with glycemic index of foods, a DVD series with 13 sessions to guide you through different aspects of the program, and you are provided with the daily journal. You must prepay for the Program and you are held accountable by the coach and the group for the journaling, DVD education, physical activities, and improvement in food choices. You have an option to join the Transitions website for ongoing support and to track your progress. You will be measured and weighed on weeks 1, 4, 8, and 12. On day one, you will also be photographed. The program also includes two individual clinical sessions (90-120 minutes and 50-60 minutes) during the Program. That ensures that Kasia knows your complete medical and diet history and can individualize the program per your needs. The cost includes that and all the needed educational materials plus the basic set of one month supply of supplements that have been proven to optimize the fat loss.

How do I know which program is better for me?
Read all the information about individual counseling and both programs. Call Kasia and investigate further or come to a free introductory class. Or simply become Kasia’s patient as this is the best way for both you and Kasia to assess what is the most appropriate course of action. Interestingly, many of Kasia’s patients plunge right into the Detox Program. Some Detox graduates feel so well that they want to continue the benefit of group accountability and the weight loss and take the TLS Program after the Detox.

Dieting
When you commit to nutritional and lifestyle changes, you will experience sustainable improvements. Your new lifestyle will become your new pattern of behavior. The learned behavior will then become your routine. On the other hand, diets are not sustainable and may lead to a physiological trauma and a potential nutrient loss. Diets fail people, not the other way round. Most diets are designed to fit all. However, each of us has unique needs, which will also change in the course of our lives. Kasia will support you in your dietary choices whatever they are, ensuring that you know how to meet your nutrient needs and understand potential imbalances of your chosen diet. Remember that dieting promotes the concept of deprivation; when you avoid “bad” foods, you crave them more. Instead, you will learn to create a way to live and eat that promotes nourishment, a sense of well-being, and balance.

Why is Weight Loss such a Challenge?
You may have gained weight because of your medications, hormonal imbalances such as hypothyroidism, a medical condition, a food sensitivity or allergy, chronic stress, overeating foods for comfort, portion-distortion, wrong meal timing, such as nocturnal eating, skipping meals or eating only one meal a day, to name a few. An initial success with a diet may be due to the loss of water and protein (as in muscle mass!), and less likely due to fat loss. When you are on a diet, your body will slow down its metabolism by up to 15 % to adjust. That means it now needs less food for the same energy needs. Once you get “off” the diet, three things may happen. Not only do you end up indulging in the formerly forbidden foods, not only do you regain the weight you have lost, but you also gain a few extra pounds. Meanwhile, you have subjected your body to a physiological trauma.

By being on a diet, you turned down your metabolism, so now your body needs less food than before for the same functions. You may, therefore, be eating the same amount as before the diet, but now some of it will be in excess of your energy needs: excess protein is excreted, but unused fat or carbohydrates will store in fat deposits. That is why you will put on extra weight. Did you know that toxins are mostly fat-soluble, so they store in fat tissue? If you start losing weight fast, a lot of toxins will be released, and that can cause unpleasant symptoms. The slower and more gradual the weight loss, the safer it is for the body and the more likely you are to maintain the results.
